RINA CONSULTING – CENTRO SVILUPPO MATERIALI (CSM) nasce nel 1963 su iniziativa delle maggiori industrie siderurgiche e meccaniche italiane. Dal 1998 è un Centro di Ricerca Industriale privato al servizio della competività delle imprese., che si pone l’obiettivo di sviluppare e trasferire sia sul piano industriale sia sul mercato internazionale l’innovazione tecnologica nel comparto dei materiali e delle relative tecnologie di progettazione , produzione e impiego. CSM è un importante nodo della rete europea della ricerca e dell’innovazione che opera nel settore industriale di produzione dell’acciaio, oltre che per i comparti : petrolio, gas, aerospazio, materiali e prodotti speciali, ingegneria ed impiantistica, ambiente ed enerigia. collaborando con imprese grandi, medie e piccole, sia manifatturiere sia di ingegneria/servizio, oltre che con università ed enti pubblici e privati nazionali ed internazionali.

RINA CONSULTING – MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT CENTER (CSM) was founded in 1963 on the initiative of Italy’s leading steel and mechanical engineering industries. Since 1998, it has been a private industrial research center serving the competitiveness of businesses, with the aim of developing and transferring technological innovation in the field of materials and related design, production, and application technologies, both industrially and on the international market. CSM is an important hub in the European research and innovation network operating in the steel production industry, as well as in the following sectors: oil, gas, aerospace, special materials and products, engineering and plant engineering, environment, and energy. It collaborates with large, medium, and small companies, both manufacturing and engineering/service, as well as with universities and national and international public and private entities.
