TÜV Italia è un ente indipendente di certificazione, ispezione, testing, collaudi e formazione, che offre servizi certificativi in ambito qualità, energia, ambiente, sicurezza e prodotto. Presente in Italia dal 1987 ed appartenente al gruppo TÜV SÜD, fondato nel 1866 per volontà di alcuni imprenditori e tecnici bavaresi che, preoccupati per le frequenti esplosioni che coinvolgevano i generatori ed i serbatoi a pressione, crearono l’Associazione bavarese di ispezione per i serbatoi a pressione, oggi conosciuta in tutto il mondo con il nome di TÜV SÜD.

La struttura negli anni è cresciuta e l’internazionalizzazione del business ha contribuito ad una forte crescita delle attività all’estero e allo sviluppo di 800 sedi in tutto il mondo, presente in più di 60 paesi per un totale di oltre 24.000 dipendenti, nel 2015 il gruppo TÜV SÜD ha fatturato 2.220 milioni di euro.

TÜV Italia, a quasi trent’anni dalla sua presenza nel nostro paese, conta di una struttura di circa 500 dipendenti e 400 collaboratori, con dieci uffici operativi sul territorio nazionale, a cui si affiancano i laboratori di Scarmagno (TO) e quelli delle acquisite Bytest, a Volpiano (TO) e Benevento, e di quello di pH a Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (FI), acquisiti rispettivamente nel gennaio 2012 e nel gennaio 2013.

Bytest

Acquisite nel gennaio 2012, Bytest è leader nelle prove di laboratorio (metallografiche, meccaniche e analisi chimiche), e nelle Prove Non Distruttive quali:

ultrasuoni (UT);
correnti indotte (ET);
radiografia (RT) industriale;
liquidi penetranti (PT);
particelle Magnetiche (MT);
attacco Nital (NET);
identificazione leghe;
termografia;
esame visivo;
repliche metallografiche;
prove di durezze in campo.

Per l’esecuzione dei Controlli Non Distruttivi, Bytest dispone di personale qualificato ITANDTB, per il settore aeronautico, e certificato CICPND e IIS per gli altri settori industriali (EN473 – ISO9712).
Nei servizi di prova, il laboratorio opera in conformità ai requisiti tecnici ed organizzativi definiti dall’accreditamento PRI/Nadcap per i diversi codici di prova. I metodi adottati per i test in ambito aereonautico sono riconosciuti dall’ENAC e dai principali metodi di prova da parte di importanti clienti del settore aeronautico. Il laboratorio ha adottato Sistemi di Gestione qualità in accordo alle norme ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, ISO/IEC 17025, certificati da Enti accreditati del circuito ACCREDIA e COFRAC.

Bytest svolge anche attività di progettazione, realizzazione, vendita e assistenza tecnica di impianti NDT, concepiti e utilizzati per l’ispezione di varie componentistiche ed integra la sua offerta con servizi di addestramento e qualifica del personale, sviluppo e validazione di tecniche di ispezione, supporto tecnicoda personale di livello 3 oltre a verifiche di taratura.

Bytest effettua Failure Analysis con l’obiettivo di aiutare le aziende a comprendere le cause primarie delle rotture ed indirizzandole verso efficaci interventi correttivi. Bytest è Centro di Esame per la qualificazione del personale addetto alle prove meccaniche, fisiche, tecnologiche, metallografiche ed ai controlli non distruttivi riconosciuto da CICPND (EN473, ISO9712) e NANDTB (EN4179).

To perform Not Destructive Tests Bytest leverages the expertise of ITANDTB-qualified personnel for the aeronautic field as well as CICPND- and IIS-certified personnel for other industrial sectors (EN473 – ISO9712).
With regard to testing services, the laboratory operates in compliance with the technical and organizational requirements established by the PRI/Nadcap accreditation for the different test codes. The methods adopted for aeronautical tests are recognized by ENAC as well as by the main test methods used by important clients in the aeronautical industry. Bytest laboratories adopted Quality Management Systems in compliance with regulations ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, ISO/IEC 17025 certified by accredited bodies part of the ACCREDIA and COFRAC networks. Bytest is also active in the engineering, production, sales and technical assistance of NDT systems, designed and used for inspecting different components. The Laboratory tops off its offer with personnel training and qualification services, development and validation of inspection techniques, technical support provided by level 3 personnel as well as calibration services. In addition, Bytest performs Failure Analysis to help companies understand the primary causes of a failure and choose the most appropriate corrective actions. Bytest is an Examination Center for the qualification of personnel performing mechanical, physical, technological, metallographic tests as well as non-destructive tests recognized by CICPND (EN473, ISO9712) and NANDTB (EN4179).
